PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the multi-purpose IC card terminal device which is easily adaptive to multi-purpose uses of an IC card in a variety of styles by composing the device of a desk-top part, a reader writer, and an input pad and placing the respective parts in separate operation although those three parts are used always in one body. SOLUTION: This is a multi-purpose IC card terminal device used as a terminal of an electronic money system using an IC card. The portable input part 10 has an input means 11 for inputting necessary information and a display part 12 which displays transaction contents or an operation guidance. The reader writer 20 reads and writes the IC card and is mounted with the input pad 10 detachably. The desk-top part 30 has a power source inside and is able to communicate with a host computer and mounted with the reader writer 20 detachably together with the input part 10. Then the connection relation among the input pad 10, reader writer 20, and desk-top part 30 can be changed according to use styles. |
