PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power inverting device which makes it possible to reduce noise caused mainly by a blower for cooling semiconductor elements. SOLUTION: An uninterruptible power supply(UPS) 1 made up of a power inverting device and a secondary battery are provided with a blower 3 which uses an inlet air channel providing shorter length for the flow of cooling air 79 than the prior art's, a partition plate 44, a supporting frame 47, a box 4 comprising a partition frame 48, and a sound absorption layer 5. An opening 45 is formed at the bottom part of the partition plate 44. On the blower 71 side surface of the partition plate 44, a noise insulating layer 46 and the sound absorption layer 5 are formed solidly with a three-layer cloth, and a part base plate 84 is mounted on the opposite side. The supporting frame 47 is provided on the top surface part of an inside partition plate 66 neighboring the partition plate 44. The partition frame 48 is provided at the bottom part of the blower part 3, and an opening 49 is formed on its top surface. An inlet air opening 42 of a roughly rectangular shape for letting the cooling air 79 into the UPS 1 is formed at the position facing the opening 45 on the front plate 41. |
