<p>The invention relate to a method for continous polymerizationof olefine(s) in gas phase in a fluidized bed reactor and/or amechanically agitated bed containing an isolation phase of thepolymer from the reactor. Part of the bed is transferred to asluice hopper and is isolated from the reactor in the hopper for aperiod from 5 to 120 s. Considerable amount of theolefine(s) inthis part polymerizes before the selected polymer is removed fromthe sluice hopper. By the method the quantity of the gas forrecyclin coming out together with the polymer is reduced and thedegassification of the polymer is improved by means of the heatfrom the polymrization reaction during the period of isolation inthe sluice hopper.10 claims, 1 figure</p> |
