<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a node device to a network without changing addresses of ports of the node devices. SOLUTION: Node devices 10, 20, 30 are interconnected by using a sub- network having a pseudo sub-network address Z. Each connected port is given an address that is a combination of the pseudo sub-network address and a host address. In the case of adding a node device 40 to the network, it is not required to change address of ports of the node devices 10, 20, 30 and to set addresses of ports E, W of the node device 40 depending on an installed location.</p> |
