<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a driver for vehicle which is applicable to any speed region by providing a rotation control means for uncoupling a power transmission system from a generator/motor, when the r.p.m. thereof exceeds a specified value between them. SOLUTION: A rotation control means, i.e., a centrifugal clutch 3, is disposed between a generator/motor and an input/output shaft. When the input/output shaft rotates at a high speed in the direction of an arrow F, a lever 3b opens outward centrifugally to separate from the input/output shaft. Consequently, the centrifugal clutch 3 is connected, when the r.p.m. of the generator/motor 1 is lower than a specified value at the time of low speed running, for example, and power can be generated which is proportional to the r.p.m. When the r.p.m. of the generator/motor 1 exceeds a specified value, the centrifugal clutch 3 is disconnected, but when this state is sustained, the r.p.m. of the generator/ motor 1 decreases because it is loaded as a generator but due to the pressing force of a compression coil spring 3C prevailing, the r.p.m. of the generator/ motor 1 is increased.</p> |
