PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to issue a simple foreign currency receipt which can easily deal with, for example, a demand for itemization in the foreign currency. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a foreign currency receipt key which stores the exchange rate of foreign currencies to Japanese currencies and instructs a receipt issuance in the foreign currencies. When a merchandise is sales registered by a merchandise register means, it is exchanged by the exchange rate for storing an amount of money of sales data of the merchandise and buffering is performed. When one transaction is settled by a settling-up register means the sum of total amount of money of the transaction is converted by the same exchange rate and buffered. When issuing of the receipt by the foreign currency is instructed by the foreign currency receipt key (ST5, NO), the foreign currency receipt which has data exchanged into the amount of money of the buffered foreign currency printed after the receipt by Japanese currency amount of money. |
