PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a performance of carbonaceous material of a battery electrode, concerning a lithium ion battery which is used in a variety of electric apparatus. SOLUTION: This compound has such a formation that material (germanium or gallium), which reacts with a lithium atom, to thereby enable to form an alloy, but does not react with a carbon atom, is added and dispersed in a gap of 8 nm or less between particles existing in carbonaceous material having a mean particle size of 20 nm or less. As the size of the added material is too small to express the property of a bulk by this formation, a lithium ion is desorbed reversibly. Besides, as a carbon atom does not react with the added material, even when heat treatment, necessary for manufacturing, is applied, the added material is not changed into electrochemically inert material. Therefore, increase of a relative capacity as a secondary battery can be attained. |
