PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the radio communication equipment and mobile radio communication system where a distance of a transmission line is measured and a battery efficiency is excellent. SOLUTION: The equipment is provided with a timing generator that generates a signal generating timing to generate a transmission burst signal including a unique word consisting of prescribed known data patterns in a transmission state and generates a signal decomposition timing to decompose the received burst signal in a reception state, an aperture generator 22 that generates an aperture gate in response to a time range to detect the unique word included in the received burst signal based on the signal decomposition timing, a timer that provides an output of an elapsed time from a head position of the aperture gate, and a unique word detection section 24 that detects the unique word included in the received burst signal and provides an output of the elapsed time from the head position of the aperture gate at the detected position as transmission line distance information corresponding to a transmission line distance during radio communication. |
