PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a malfunction caused by an infrared signal of sneak path from a relay transmission part to a relay reception part through not mechanical but electric measures by holding the main body of repeater so as not to receive following signals just for prescribed time when a transmission infrared signal is received at the relay reception part. SOLUTION: When a transmission infrared signal A is inputted to a relay reception part 4 of an infrared repeater 3, the relay reception part 4 converts this signal into a reception electric signal and a reception circuit 5 judges the contents and outputs a reception output signal from a reception output terminal corresponding to these contents among plural reception output terminals. When any block circuit of a reception permission control part 14 is turned into conductive state, the reception input terminal of the reception circuit 5 is grounded and only while the reception output signal is outputted, the state of inputting no next reception electric signal is provided. Thus, only by adding the block circuit as the reception permission control part 14, the malfunction caused by the infrared signal of sneak path from a relay transmission part 7 into the relay reception part 4 can be prevented. |
