DETECTED BODY WHOSE GENUINESS IS CHECKED AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the detected body which can easily be manufactured while a magnetic polymer element is usable without any waste. SOLUTION: The detected body 10 has a magnetic tape 13 provided on a base material 11 made of synthetic resin and is equipped with a magnetic polymer element dispersed layer 20 as a scanning area 12 on the reverse side of the magnetic tape 13. The magnetic tape 13 is narrower than the base material 11. The magnetic polymer element dispersed layer 20 is formed by dispersing many magnetic polymer elements 22 in the adhesive layer 21 of the magnetic tape 13 at random and held between the magnetic tape 13 and base material 11. The magnetic tape 13 having the magnetic polymer element dispersed layer 20 is provided in the scanning direction of the detected body 10.
