PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate a link on the document management system equipped with an inter-page link mechanism. SOLUTION: In the document management system equipped with a document managing means 1 and a document display means 2, a link button generating means 3 generates a link button for a 1st page 12 at a specific position by gripping the 1st page 12 displayed on a screen by a document display means 2 or an icon 14 representing it and dropping it at the specific position on a 2nd page 13 displayed on the same screen 11. The generated link button is registered and managed by a link button managing means 4 and when the link button that a link button display means 5 displays over the pages is clicked, a link destination page display control means 6 displays the linked page.
