The invention refers to a swine (Sus scrofa) line named The Great White of Gornesti, obtained by raising them in reproductive isolation in successive generations, applying a controlled inbreeding system, in order to avoid close kin inbreeding, selecting and keeping good reproducing sires based on the selection difference, and establishing the improvement value for the reproducing sires, designed to produce F1 females (The Great White x Landrace and Landrace x The Great White) in hybridization farms. The pig is white and tall, with a harmonious build. It has a medium sized head, medium sized straight ears, long and harmonious rack and rump, well developed thighs, strong legs, and robust built, resistant to stress. The pigs are well adapted to the conditions of industrial exploitation. Their reproduction performances are: 11.6 piglets per delivery, 9.2 piglets raised to 21 days, and a piglet capacity of 54 kg/lot.
