<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent recorded data, a recording medium and a system program from being destroyed even if a user unintentionally operates a power source switch. SOLUTION: In activating an electronic file device, it is activated by a switch 16 which manually turns on a primary side circuit of a power source. In stopping the device, it is not manually turned on but it is first detected if the file is being operated. When it is judged that the file is not being operated, the primary side circuit of the power source is turned off under control of the system control unit 1 after a system control unit 1 connected to a secondary side of the power source completes a system program. On the other hand, when it is judged that the file is being operated, the system control unit 1 has file processing completed, then, the system program completed, and the primary side of the power source is automatically turned off.</p> |
