<p>PURPOSE: To completely eliminate a fluorescent film and a carbon film, while not producing any recessed or projecting part on the inner surface as their backing, in a regenerating method for a color cathode-ray tube panel on the inner surface, of which the fluorescent film and the carbon film have been formed. CONSTITUTION: By injecting liquid in which a panel is not eroded at high pressure into the inner surface of the panel 1, for example water 4, a fluorescent film 3 and a carbon film 2 are eliminated. A smoothing process is provided for the inner surface of the panel 1 using acid solution 5. Thus, the fluorescent film 3 and the carbon film 2 can be removed, and since the panel is not eroded in the liquid, and the possibility of a recessed or projecting part occurring on the inner surface of the panel 1 can be eliminated. Then the inner surface can be flattened by the acid solution 5.</p> |
