<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and efficiently report a congestion of a communication line. SOLUTION: At congesting, communication control equipment 42 writes information of a congestion line and congestion information in a P-MP.RM (request management) cell and transmits it to an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) switch 3. The ATM switch 3 copies this P-MP.RM cell and transmits it to all upstream side communication control equipment 41 and 43. Each communication control equipment reduces the cell rate of output from shaping 412 with congestion communication control equipment as a destination, while referring to the information written in the RM cell. When the RM cell with the congestion communication control equipment as the destination is inputted to an F-RM input part 411, a congestion display bit '1' is returned from a B-RM output part 416.</p> |
