PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To define a service class, including the service category required for a user. SOLUTION: A data input/output device 2 supplies a service category inputted at a data input part 21, service class such as a service quality class, buffer number and the data of request class (to be set at the time of definition) to a data transmitting/receiving part 31 and continuously supplies them to a data processor 31. The received data are analyzed and at the time of definition for the service class of an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) buffer device 1 inside an ATM exchanger, as the setting of the service class, a data reading/ setting part 33 defined the service class for a buffer. The result at this setting and data at the time of data reading are transmitted from the data transmitting/ receiving part 31 of the data processor 3 to the data input/output device 2 and the setting processing result and the data of the read service class are continuously displayed at a data output part 23. |
