PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer control method for suppressing the printing result illegality of next printing after printing is cancelled. SOLUTION: When an indication for canceling printing is given during data transmission from a spooler to a printer device, all data which are not printed are converted into 0×00 and converted data are sent to the printer device (S151). Since the size of data which is not printed is converted into 0×00, data of this time is not mixed with data accumulated in the spooler next and a page is turned at the end of cancelled data. Thus, next data is prevented from being illegally printed.
