PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic device, wherein the LCD display part is readily observed, by providing a stand function at the cosmetic chain- fixed tool of the portable electronic device and floating a part of the portable electronic device from a desk or a setting stage. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set is constituted of a body cover 1 for the portable telephone set, a body case 2, an LCD display part 3, a receiver part, an external antenna, a battery, a cosmetic chain-fixed tool 9 and a battery stopper 10. Since a cosmetic chain-fixed tool 9 is engaged and pressed into the battery stopper, the main body case 2 can be partly floated from a desk 20. |
