<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power loss in a pulse signal transmission circuit and a subscriber line terminator using the circuit. SOLUTION: A terminator has a transformer 15 with a primary winding having a tap and a secondary winding connected to a transmission cable, two switching elements 13, 14 connected to both ends of the primary winding of the transformer 15, and a booster power supply circuit 6 is inserted in series with a pulse signal transmission circuit power supply provided between the tap of the transformer 15 and a connecting point of the two switching elements 13, 14. When a unipolar signal (1) is fed to a data input terminal 11 and a unipolar signal (2) is fed to a data input terminal 12, a bipolar pulse signal (3) whose high frequency component is emphasized appears at the secondary winding of the transformer 15. Hatched parts in the figure indicate high frequency emphasized components produced by the booster power supply circuit 6.</p> |
