PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage a passing vehicle on a pay road, and to charge passage money without requiring any wireless card or money collecting device. SOLUTION: A PHS terminal 1 loaded on a vehicle V periodically transmits base station identification information received from a base station CS of a communication area A in which the vehicle exists through a communication network 2. A control center 3 receives the base station identification information of the specific base station in charge of the communication area A including entrance gate and exit gates G of a pay road R, relates the terminal number of the PHS terminal 1 communicated from the communication network 2 at the time of incoming a call with the gate identification information corresponding to the base station identification information on the specific base station CS, and records this as gate passage information. In a method for controlling a passing vehicle, the gate passage information is used as passing vehicle management data. In a passage money charging method, passage money is calculated based on the gate passage information, and the passage money is related with the terminal number so that charging information can be prepared, and outputted to a settlement facility. |
