PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the optical head having the constitution by which the size and the thickness of an optical disk device are reduced. SOLUTION: An optical head 40 has a first moving optical section 6, which holds a converging lens mechanism 2 to converge light beams on an optical disk 1, conducts the focusing of the beams on the disk 1, conducts the tracking of a track on the disk 1 and slides the mechanism 2 in the radial direction of the disk 1, a second moving optical section 44, which holds and moves a light emitting/receiving element 4, and a fixed optical section 7 which consists of a fixed optical system. Moreover, the head 40 has a tilt sensor 42, which detects a tilt angleθbetween the turntable that mounts the disk 1 and the rail which slides the head 40 in the radial direction of the disk 1, and a moving means 44 which moves the second moving optical section in the direction orthogonal to an optical axis so as to cancel the aberration on the disk caused by the angleθ.
