PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting electric components and the system thereof by which a mounting state of electrical components on a circuit board can be inspected with a high degree of reliability. SOLUTION: Twenty mounting units provided on an index table intermittently rotating on the vertical axis line at regular angular intervals are successively transferred to chuck positions and mounting positions, and electric components 22 are taken out from a supplying unit, then they are mounted on a printed circuit board 20. A mounting inspection unit including a columnar parallel beam emitting unit, a CCD camera and an image processor is provided at the mounting position, and the component mounting positions and the surrounding area are imaged before and after mounting. The electric component 22 and a component chuck jig are not imaged immediately before mounting (fig.(a)), and the electric component 22 is imaged immediately after mounting. The image is changed by mounting the electric component 22 on the printed circuit board 20 and it is decided whether the electrical component 22 is mounted on the printed circuit board 20 or not by comparing both images. Deviation of the electrical component may be detected. |
