PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing burr wherein resin burr is effectively removed with no damage on resin package or lead frame, while material control is easy for high work safety and no possibility of pollution. SOLUTION: An abrasive of dry ice pellet 8 which is obtained by solidifying CO2 gas is blown, together with compressed air, to a lead frame 20 after a resin package 21 is molded, so that needless resin burr 26 on the surface of an external lead 22 of the lead frame 20 is removed. For the material of the dry ice pellet 8, CO2 gas in atmosphere is used, the size of the dry ice pellet 8 is about, for example, 3 mmϕ×5 mm-3 mmϕ×10 mm while the pressure of compressed air is, for example, 10 kg/cm<2> or less, specifically 5-10 kg/cm<2> , for example. |
