PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a uniform light distribution characteristic even in a complicated surface and a flat plane and facilitate thin-type formation. SOLUTION: This sheet-like light emitting device has a sheet-like light emitting body 10 formed by bonding transparent members 11, 13 each formed from a transparent synthetic resin layer not containing a light diffusing material and a translucent member 12 formed from a translucent synthetic resin layer containing a light diffusing material, and an LED(light emitting diode) array 16 is installed at least on one end surface side of the sheet-like light emitting body 10. Diffusion layers 14, 15 each form a sea-island structure, the size of the resin to form the island is approximately 0.1-50 μm and the light entered into the resin to form the island is attenuated there by its complicated shape without being reflected again. That is, the light entered into the diffusion layers 14, 15 is imparted uniform luminance. |
