PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cash housing device compact while maintaining the money inputting function, money outputting function, and reject function of the cash housing device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a carrying passage for carrying cash 1 back and forth between a first housing chamber and a second housing chamber, and a cash carrying part having a first gage 231 provided at a first carriage port and a second gate 226 provided at a second carriage port, and the opening directions of the both gates 231 and 226 are made faced to each other. Also, when the cash 1 is stopped when carried from the first gate 231 to enter the first housing chamber (in an A state), the cash 1 is carried in an opposite direction of the money inputting direction in a state that the second gate 226 is closed, and the first gate is closed (in a B state). Moreover, the cash 1 is carried in the money inputting direction, and allowed to completely pass through the second gate 226, and the second gate 226 is opened (in a C state), and the cash 1 is carried in the opposite direction again, and carried to the second housing chamber (in a D state). |
