PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain customer data by judging validity, invalidity of telephone numbers of the customer data held by a company, etc., by a user's own personal computer. SOLUTION: The telephone numbers of the customer data registered in the personal computer are successively read, the personal computer, a TA(terminal adaptor) 10, an ISDN line 11 are automatically originated to a medium. The validity, invalidity, transfer guide, etc., of the telephone numbers are judged by a response signal to be returned from an NTT station to the TA 10 and its 'result file' is outputted. Thus, a means to maintain the customer data is provided.
