PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the IC card which enhances the secrecy protection of the IC card and also facilitates its inspection. SOLUTION: Relating the IC card, an external input code is collated with a password code in an internal storage area and when the coincidence is detected, the said storage area is allowed to be accessed from outside. The storage area is provided with a password code area wherein password codes are set. Then the IC card is provided with an access decision means which collates the external input code with the password codes in the password code area, detects they are coincident each other as plural times as specified, and allows access to the corresponding data area in the storage area according to the combination of the coincident password code. |
