摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aid traffic management and to troubleshoot a fault earlier by transmitting information between a ground side and a mobile body side in two-way and allowing the ground side to confirm a state of a mobile body. SOLUTION: A supervisory camera 2 photographs a state on a platform 1 and a ground side light transmission device 3 transmits the photographed state. A train 5 approaching on the platform 1 uses an on-vehicle side light receiving device 6 to receive and demodulate a light beam 4 sent from the ground side light transmission device 3, and the demodulated light is sent through an on-vehicle transmission line 7 to a monitor TV 8, on which the image is displayed. Furthermore, an information processing unit 10 provided to the train 5 collects fault information of each car and allows an on-vehicle side light transmission device 11 to send the collected information to an on-ground side light receiving device 13 as a light beam 12 together with a vehicle arrangement number. The on-ground side light receiving device 13 converts the received light beam 12 into an electric signal, adds its own ID number to the converted signal, and sends the resulting signal to a train traffic management center 15 via a transmission line 14. The train traffic management center 15 manages the traffic of the train 5 based on the information from the on-ground side light receiving device 13 and detects a fault.
