PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte excellent in safety. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte comprises a nonaqueous solvent including a fluorine-containing aromatic compound having a fluorine atom and an aromatic ring, and an electrolyte. The fluorine-containing aromatic compound is at least one kind of compound expressed by a general formula. (In the formula, X is a hydrocarbon group having the number of carbon atoms of 1 to 10, or a group cont. carbon atoms and at least one kind selected from an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a nitrogen atom, a phosphorus atom, and fluorine atom, (n) is an integer of 1 to 5, (m) is an integer of 0 to 3, and m+n<=6.). |
