PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone system capable of easily and quickly making a telephone call to a desired party concerning a desired connection destination of a specified category even when a telephone number is not clear. SOLUTION: The category of the desired connection destination is selected out of a category list by a mobile telephone terminal 10 and sent to a base station 20A or 20B. At the base station 20A or 20B, a base station(BS) number of the present equipment is added to a category number, which is received from the mobile telephone terminal 10, and sent to an exchange 30. When the category number and BS number transmitted from the base station 20A or 20B are received, the exchange 30 specifies a telephone number corresponding to the category number and BS number out of a telephone number list in a data base 40 and this telephone number is automatically sent to the connection destination so that speaking is enabled while connecting the speech path between the desired connection destination and the mobile telephone terminal 10. |
