<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce an image of high image quality in image processing method and device for processing digital image data acquired by a digital camera. SOLUTION: An input means 3 reads out digital image data S, acquired by the digital camera 1 and a 1st featured value calculation means 4 finds out a 1st featured value T1 for correcting colors. A normalizing means 5 normalizes the data S, based on the 1st featured value T1 to obtain normalized image data C, and a selection means 6 selects a main image part for obtaining selected image data CS. A 2nd featured value calculation means 7 finds out a 2nd featured value T2 for correcting density from the data CS and a correction means 8 corrects the normalized image data C, based on the 2nd featured value T2 to obtain processed image data S'. An image output means 9 corrects the data S' so as to become a prescribed output density to obtain final output image data S".</p> |
