PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration due to memory leakage in the performance of the communication equipment that transmits/receives packets. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of page data of packets by a page reception section 22, the page data are fed to an object generating section 25 and a payload memory 23, and an address translation section 21 generates addresses assignable to a payload memory 23. The object generating section 25 generates one object including the addresses for one packet and the page data in a list structural form are stored in the addresses of the payload memory 23. In the case that a memory leak detection section 24 detects memory leaks due to a loss of an object or the like, the memory leak detection section 24 forcibly releases areas of the corresponding addresses in the payload memory 23.
