The invention refers to an adjustable damper designed for vehicle suspensions, especially semi-active suspensions. According to the invention, the adjustable damper has a filter element (9), positioned in between the cylinder (1) of the damper and a sleeve (8). The sleeve (8) is positioned in the direction of the axis of the cylinder (1) by the joint (11) of a pressure regulating element (E).
