PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device corresponding to full color, which can always obtain excellent reproducibility for an original and color by correcting transfer properties even if they are changed by means of a transfer voltage and a toner sticking quantity, when an intermediate transfer medium is used at the time of forming a color image. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device of a system that the toner image of each color component formed on an image carrier 102 is tentatively superimposed on the intermediate transfer medium 109, and then, transferred on a transfer material, has a means controlling a transfer electric field at the time of performing a transfer to the intermediate transfer medium 109, and a means controlling, at least, either of the writing light quantity and light emitting time of a latent image forming means 104 according to the controlled transfer electric field, as a characteristic. Moreover, in the above-mentioned image forming device, the transfer electric field is controlled according to a transfer stage or a developing agent used. On the other hand, when the image forming device has a means detecting a transfer rate, the transfer electric field is controlled according to the detected transfer rate. |
