PURPOSE: To obtain a low-cost grease filter of a simple structure with a superb capability to capture oil by holding the front and rear faces of a multilayer metal coil wire filter with a metal net, and encircling the peripheral surface of the metal net and the multilayer metal coil wire filter with a metal edge stopper which can be disassembled. CONSTITUTION: A multilayer metal coil wire filter 3 of a specified thickness which has a number of spaces for capturing oil internally is formed by winding a metal coil wire 2 around a metal coil wire-wound frame 1 in a multiple winding fashion. In addition, the front and rear faces of the multilayer metal coil wire filter 3 are held by metal nets 4, 4, and the peripheral surfaces of the metal nets 4, 4 and the multilayer metal coil wire filter 3 are encircled by a metal edge stopper 5 which can be disassembled. Consequently, it is possible to sufficiently capture oil and, at the same time, prevent the coils from deviating from each other due to their mutual entanglement. Thus, the structural stability of the filter is ensured and its easy disassembly and assembly are achieved, so that the filter parts can easily be cleaned and, as its structure is simple, the filter can be supplied at a low cost. |
