SOLUTION: An inverter case 7 is formed which is a box closed up by an under cover 5 and a shield plate 6. An object to be heated such as a pot for cooking is placed on a top plate 1, an inverter unit in the inverter case 7 is actuated by turning on an inverter power supply and drives the coil unit 3, and an electromagnetic wave is generated and heats the object to be heated such as a pot for cooking. At the same time, a cooling fan 11 is driven and starts to blow air into a gap 4 between a heat sink 9, the coil unit 3, and the inverter case 7, cools down main electrical components 8, etc., and the coil unit 3, and the heat generated can be dissipated to the exterior via the shield plate 6. |
