CENTRIFUGAL PUMP GUIDING DEVICE

FIELD: centrifugal pumps. SUBSTANCE: guiding device includes two disks 1 and 2 with spiral passages. Spiral passages in disk 1 are made on suction end and are formed by two transversal planes and peripheral spiral surface. One wall 6 of passage is blind and other wall is open which is simultaneously used as contact surface with adjacent disk 2. Each spiral passage consists of main section covered by angle of 360 deg/n, where "n" is number of passages and intermediate section 5 smoothly extending with its blind wall 6 till intersection with open wall. Tongue 10 is made between intermediate part of passage and spiral surface. Spiral passages in disk 2 are directed towards center. They consist of sections inclined relative to main sections in plane of development of passage diameter. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions and simplified construction of pump. 2 cl, 7 dwg
