PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for ink jet printers, capable of reducing the mutual blot of colors on a multicolor printing to give an excellent printed image quality. SOLUTION: This ink set comprises (A) the first ink having the first color and containing water and a coloring agent selected from the group consisting of (1) an anion dye, (2) a dye physically or chemically combined with a stabilizer having an anionic group, (3) pigment particles having chemically bondable anionic groups, (4) pigment particles physically or chemically combined with a stabilizer having an anionic group, and (5) their mixture, and (B) the second ink containing water, an arbitrary coloring agent having a color different from the first color, and an ammonium salt having at least two cationic ammonium functional groups. |
