PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil treating agent which has a good low-temperature viscosity stability at low temperatures, freeze-thaw stability and adhesion and protective properties against soil and exerts a low viscosity as a solution although it forms a water-resistant film after treatment, and a soil conditioning process and vegetation greening process using it. SOLUTION: This soil treating agent comprises a water-soluble copolymerized resin obtained by neutralizing in an alkaline aqueous solution a copolymerized resin dispersion obtained through emulsion polymerization of monomers comprising from 2 to 50 pts.wt. unsaturated carboxylic acids (A) and from 50 to 98 pts.wt. (100 pts.wt. in total) copolymerizable monomers in water (B). The soil treating agent is used as an 1-10 wt.% aqueous solution or as an aqueous solution comprising this and other additives. From 0.5 to 10 liters this aqueous solution is used against 1 m<3> soil to condition the soil. Furthermore, the soil treating agent is applied to the soil with seeds for vegetation or furthermore with fertilizers or other additives for greening to carry out vegetation greening of the soil. |
