PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject concentrate capable of improving the molding processability of a saturated polyester without especially carrying out drying and useful for efficiently producing a polyester expansion molded product, etc., of improved quality by including a specific polyfunctional compound and polyethylene in a specified proportion. SOLUTION: This concentrate is obtained by including (A) 2-30 wt.%, preferably 5-20 wt.% of a polyfunctional compound containing 43 functional groups per molecule (preferably pyromellitic anhydride) and (B) 98-70 wt.%, preferably 95-80 wt.% of a polyethylene (preferably a low-density polyethylene). The component B preferably has 1-20 g/10 min melt flow rate measured at 190 deg.C under 2,140 g load according to ASTM D-1238. The resultant concentrate is useful as a masterbatch for extrusion expansion molding. |
