PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-damping material which can be applied easily within a short time and can exhibit dispersion-free stable vibration-damping performances and to provide a process for applying the same. SOLUTION: This process comprises: the steps of fixing capillaries 6a and 6b being parts to be vibration-damped by surrounding them by a mold 11 leaving a specified clearance and pouring a foamable urethane vibration-damping material which is a mixture of a curing agent with a base essentially consisting of a polyether, a polystyrene, and an iron powder by means of a injection gun 12, and curing the mixture to cover the peripheries of the capillaries 6a and 6b with the cured vibration-damping material 13. |
