DEEP-DYEABLE BULKY SLUB YARN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deep-dyeable bulky slub yarn giving a spun-like cloth having soft feeling with excellent deep-dyeing effect as well as a distinct thick part. SOLUTION: This slub yarn is an entangled combined filament yarn composed of a core yarn (a) and a sheath yarn (b). The core yarn (a) is a drawn multifilament yarn and the sheath yarn (b) is a polyester multifilament yarn having a birefringence (Δn) of 80×10<-3> to 120×10<-3> . Thick parts A formed by the accumulation of a number of sheath yarns (b) around the core yarn (a) and thin parts B composed of core yarns (a) and sheath yarns (b) combined and entangled with each other are alternately distributed along the longitudinal direction of the yarn. The yarn has loops (c) and sags on the surface and gives a dyed cloth having an L value of <=17.
