PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage medium in which a control program for measuring the length of a curve has been stored, and a curve length measuring apparatus and its measuring method for measuring the length of a required curve on a surface of an object of measurement precisely, without depending on the positional relation between the object of measurement and an image sensing device. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with an image sensing unit 11 which picks up images of an object of measurement from viewpoints different from one another and obtains a plurality of picture image data, a measuring point setting unit 12 which sets a line of measuring points along a curve to be an object of measurement, on a picked-up picture image, a curved surface calculating unit 13 which sets a radial half line extending toward each measuring point line from a specified reference point and finds a curved surface interpolating the said group of half lines, an intersection calculating unit 14 which finds intersections of a plurality of found curved surfaces, an intersection length calculating unit 15 which finds each length of the intersections found, and an intersection length displaying unit 16 which displays the length of each found intersection on a display. |
