PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply device capable of supplying toner without producing noise and without allowing the toner to remain in the toner container, making the cross section of a housing part for housing the toner container small and packing material for the toner container compact, reducing cost, preventing misoperation and preventing toner soiling caused by toner scattering; and the toner container used for the toner supply device. SOLUTION: This device is constituted by a rotating and driving means 3 rotating and driving while fitting to one side end provided with an aperture 1c discharging toner (T) stored inside the main body 1a of the toner container 1 supported by a toner container pedestal 2 coming in contact with the outer peripheral surface 1b of the main body 1a of the container 1 and supporting the container 1 so as to rock it, an engaging member 1f arranged on the outer peripheral surface 1b equal to or under the maximum diameter of the other side end in the direction of the bottom 1d of the main body 1a of the container 1, and an exciting engaging member 4 engaged with the member 1f and vibrating the container 1 so that the toner adhering to the inner wall of the container 1 may be excited. |
