PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify wirings of driving circuits and also to form the drivers in an IC for a PDP in which different sustaining discharge signals are to be impressed on odd numbered X, Y electrodes and on even numbered X, Y electrodes. SOLUTION: In a plasma display device in which the second electrode driving circuit of a plasma display device impressing sustaining discharge signals having reverse phase alternately on the pair of adjacent first electrode 2 and second electrode 3 in an interlaced display is provided with a first driving circuit 16 outputting voltage pulses to be impressed on odd numbered second electrodes and a second driving circuit 17 outputting voltage pulses to be impressed on even numbered second electrodes and a third circuit for selectively impressing these voltage pulses and scanning signals on the second electrodes, the third circuit is divided into a third odd numbered circuit 41 to be connected to the odd numbered second electrodes and a third even numbered circuit 42 to be connected to the even numbered second electrodes and they are respectively integrated. |
