PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an ease of operation and secure a high accuracy at continuous measurements. SOLUTION: This holding device has an inner cylinder 12 and an outer cylinder 14. An ultrasonic sensor 10 has a sensor main body 10a and a sensor holder 10b. The inner cylinder 12 has a screw part 16 formed at an inner circumferential face. The screw part 16 is screwed with a screw part 100b of the holder 10b. The outer cylinder 14 is set via a predetermined distance to an outer circumferential face of the inner cylinder 12. An annular space defined between the cylinders becomes a storage part 22 for a contact medium B. A distance hold part 24 is provided at an outer circumferential edge of a leading end of the outer cylinder 14 for holding the contact medium B interposed between the ultrasonic sensor 10 and an object A to be measured. The inside of the distance hold part 24 and the storage part 22 are connected with a each other by a communication hole 26. When the contact medium B interposed between the ultrasonic sensor 10 and object A to be measured extrudes outside, the contact medium B is supplemented via the communication hole 26. |
