<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method for a flow rate of a gas and/or a fluid using a thermal effect. SOLUTION: A control device generates electric power P1 and P2 , which are respectively converted into heat flows Pgen1 and Pgen2 by diffusers 1 and 2. Objects 1 and 2 have each heat capacity, and thereby both total heat flows are integrated to physical object temperatures T1 and T2 respectively. Both object temperatures are measured by temperature sensors 1 and 2. The obtained physical temperatures are converted into electric signals to generate an electric signal T12, and an electric signalΔT is formed by an offset circuit. The object 2 meets the flow of a medium preheated by the object 1. The asymmetry of the two heat flows gives information on the flow rate. The control device outputs 'an information signal' Iout other than the control power P1 and P2 .</p> |
