PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject mixture capable of manifesting good processability and useful for production of tires and tire treads, etc., having low rotation resistance and high abrasion resistance by including a soluble rubber, a specific filler and a specified polysulfide-silane compound in a specific proportion. SOLUTION: This mixture is produced by including (B) a hydrophobized filler in an amount of 5-500 pts.wt. based on (A) 100 pts.wt. of one or more soluble rubbers such as polybutadiene and (C) one or more polysulfide-silane compounds on an inorganic or an organic carrier in an amount of 0.1-40 pts.wt. based on (A) 100 pts.wt. of the soluble rubbers in the component A. The component C is preferably obtained by reacting a (haloalkyl)silane and, as necessary, an organohalogen compound with a polysulfide in the presence of the organic or inorganic carrier in water at 20-220 deg.C. The component B is preferably a siliceous and/or an oxide filler hydrophobized by a method, etc., for adding a water-insoluble organic compound such as castor oil to the filler before, during or after a drying step. |
