Screens, partitions walls or roofs comprise elongate corrugated panel elements a having an undercut channel b t along one edge and a cooperating complementary edge portion b; of less width than the mouth of the channel along the opposite edge. Adjacent elements are secured together by clamping plates 13 having a width 105 which is less than that of the channel and a length B greater than the width of the channel. The elements are anchored to roof beams 11 by bolts passing through holes 12 and engaging a screw threaded bore 106 in a clamping plate. Ceiling panels 16 are suspended from undercut channels b in the troughs of the corrugated panels. The panels may form a sloping sided corrugation structure or a rounded of U section. The edge connecting portions may at the troughs instead of the crests. The connecting channel may have curved sidewalls instead of the smoothly sloping ones shown. The dimensions of the clamping plate may be such that it is slightly bowed in the locking position.</p> |
