The edging system for a swimming pool (1) with a liner (5) and covering strip (4) consists of plastic or metal extrusions (6) with holes (11) for fixings and raised parallel ribs (10) forming channels to receive projections (14) on the undersides of the edging blocks. The latter are made from molded or extruded concrete or reconstituted stone and held in place by a thin layer of an adhesive cement.
